Wendy,

coming from an old Peds ICU background, the main thing with nutrition for
this little one will be getting the most calories out of the smallest amount
of fluid.  Cardiac babies tend to have to fight fluid overload.  Plus the
calories needed is greater.  So they usually end up with anywhere from 24-30
cal feedings.  Looking thru the archives I am sure you will find ways to
"fatten" up calories of EBM, but most likely will end up at some points
supplementing/augmenting the EBM to get higher calories.  Good luck.  Oh,
Don't forget the old breastfeeding takes fewer calories than bottlefeeding
and better Ox sats also!!
