I am winding up at the VELB/ILCA conference in Vienna Austria, and I don't
know which is better: (1) the fantastic sessions (LOTS on attachment,
skin-to-skin, brain development, etc.), (2) the incredible city of
Vienna, or (3) meeting several real, live Lactnetters -- including
Listmother Rachel Myr. I am not worthy!

Nikki Lee -- I did not attend, but heard about, the workshop here in Vienna
on BF in Emergencies. Elizabeth Hormann was the workshop organizer. I
understand there was a speaker form Georgia (the country, not the USA state)
who described the excellent, immediate measures that were taken during the
recent invasion by Russian troops, to provide for mothers and babies. Can
anyone from the VELB/ILCA conference, who attended the session, weigh in
here?
