My husband, wise man that he is, suggests that instead of a bunch of bitchy emails, that we feel sorry for the host, and comment approriately.
 
He describes her suffering, as she sat there for the three minutes or so of the segment, feeling as if she had failed.  Her comments probably speak for thousands of women, who likewise "failed" in their attempts to breastfeed, usually as a result of poor management and lack of support.  
 
We should encourage them to keep reporting on these positive research supported benefits, but even more important, get the word out that we are out here, ready and willing to help!  
 
In my email comment, I suggested ILCA, as a resource for directing mothers where to get the help they need, so they don't have to quit out of desperation.
