Hi Rachel,

I am the one who mentioned Dr. Kotlow's statement. Unfortunately, I am not able to answer many of your questions. It was something he mentioned in a presentation. I don't think it is substantiated, just his opinion. I also don't think he thinks that all would impact breastfeeding and/or need to be revised. I remember it because it is so much higher than the 2-10% rates of tongue tie we usually hear about.
