Years ago I had a  mom who got very involved with sewing holiday outfits for 
her 3 & 4 yr olds.  The 7 mo old baby was patient, sucked fingers etc.  He 
was older and was easily entertained in other ways.  What we discovered was 
that by putting him off until she stopped what she was doing to nurse, she 
was eliminating at least 1-2 feedings per day.  This can easily happen to 
busy moms.  Nothing earth shaking in the way of hormones, suck etc, just not 
enough times at the breast.  Pat in SNJ
