I had a call from a mother in her mid-30s diagnosed with MS sev. yrs ago.
 Her doctors have been wanting her to take Betaseron (classified in my ref.
as an orphan drug, so I am having diff. finding info on bfg.)  Her child is a
34 lb. 3 yr old who nurses only at night.  She has delayed the drug for 2
yrs.  Her docs say she must wean to take it.  I have discussed weaning
options with her.  She wonders if anyone has more info on this type of
interferon.
