In response to questions about exclusive breastfeeding rates in Sweden, these can be found on this weblink.

http://www.sos.se/FULLTEXT/42/2002-42-7/2002-42-7.pdf There is a summary in English and all tables have English text.

Also the following articles of mine look at breastfeeding, women's employment and childcare policy issues specifically in relation to Sweden and the United States (and also Ireland) to show the way in which different policy configurations may or may not support breastfeeding among employed mothers. As part of this, studies examining the association between parental/maternity leave duration and duration of breastfeeding (including exclusive bf) are discussed.

Galtry, J. (2003). "The impact on breastfeeding of labour market policy and practice in Ireland, Sweden, and the United States." Social Science & Medicine. 57, 167-177.

Galtry, J. (2002). "Child health: An underplayed variable in parental leave policy debates?" Community, Work & Family. 5, 3:257-278. (Special edition on parental leave policy)

Kind regards
