Lately I have tasted my milk and think that it does taste similar to sweetened almond milk (Almond Breeze original). Ask my toddler and nums taste like just about anything but some top contenders are juice (elderberry) and chocolate. She likes to drink almond milk too and I suspect she likes it because it tastes a bit like breast milk. I haven't had rice milk for quite some time but I know I prefer the taste of almond milk to rice milk and I suspect that the almond milk is closer to breastmilk in taste.

The great and variable taste of breastmilk is a good point to bring up with pregnant women. I want the staff to be able to speak from personal experience when they say 'I wouldn't want to eat nothing but formula for months, breastmilk tastes so much better.'

Does anyone have a good recipe for making something that tastes like human milk? I've seen it compared to almond or rice milk or to melted vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately I no longer have the ability to make my own samples to compare with any concoctions I may come up with :)
