I agree with Joylyn. Check transfer volume if you suspect inadequate
transfer (probably not a prob) and just let baby "chill out". When mum feels
confident and more relaxed she could try gently removing shield half way
thru a feed and all the other thing you have already mentioned. Keep us posted.
