Excuse my impatience with myself; I'm not going to read more recent
posts before responding.
This happens frequently among mothers breastfeeding toddlers. Rachel Myr
doesn't like this being called LAM, which is a term that should only
apply to the first six months (Rachel? Confirm?) so we will have to
think of a new name for it... like temporary ovulatory suppression, or
something. Mothers ask about this about half as often as they ask if it
is normal *not* to return to regular cycles at 6 mos., a time cited in
some current source of information, and, typically, the mothers hold an
impromptu contest over refreshments.
You'd think that with my tendency to release two eggs a cycle one would
still be regularly released, but this is a BTDT (been there done that
and am still doing this.) Sorry if this is TMI (too much information);
I'm posting in a some mothers find... mode (another term for anecdotal)
but hey, at least it's breastfeeding related, and I didn't tell you who
won the contest. :-)
