Actually it goes to the mother who had a 30 minute labour for a 7 lb
baby which was her first.  I was not even there when the baby was
born, arriving a couple of minutes after.  All I did was say the baby
seemed okay even though his face seemed a little blue (lighting was
fairly dim).  Still the *doctor* gets the glory.  Isn't it always the
way?
