Can anyone tell me the significance of a "fatty" liver picked up on an
ultrasound?  Blood work - cholesterol etc are fine.  40 year old
multipara - 9 months pp. , breastfeeding part-time.  Gall bladder scan
is fine - no stones.  In the literature it says that it is often caused
by alcohol abuse but this isn't the case.  The mother is questioning
pregnancy and/or lactation.  She is about 10 kl overweight.
