Greetings.... I'm working with the Mother of a 5 month old and Mom suffers
from recurrent blebs with resulting plugged ducts. She has used gentian
violet x3 days and is now using a dilute vinegar solution after each
feeding/pumping to deal with any yeast that may be present. She's been
taking grapefruit seed extract but it makes her nauseated, so it's
difficult to be compliant in taking it. She started with Lecithin today.
Our problem? She still has considerable discomfort in one breast and the
nipple on that side all the time. She has frequent plugs in the ducts
behind the blebs. Now her milk supply on that side is diminishing. She's
frustrated and I'm almost there, too. Suggestions on where to go from here?
Your help wiil be appreciated.
