I have a question regarding the popular electric pump kits. I'm mentioning
names only for the reason that without names, this would be difficult to
get expert help.

Anyway, I have been using the A/E disposable hygieniKit for moms that are
pumping for "a while". (I'm not sure what "long term" is considered). I
was told by the company that the material was "virtually the same as" the
Medela kits. An LC in my area expressed concern with the "long term use of
this product" and suggests that I use either the Medela kit or the A/E
reusable hygienikit. My question, for those that are in the know, at what
point is the "disposable" kit no longer useable and is using the kit "long
term" when it says disposable pose any great risk to mom or baby?

A BIG benefit to these disposable kit is price. For many of my low income
moms, it is a very affordable choice.

I hope my question is clear. I can be emailed privately if necessary.

Thanks,
