Perhaps we can appeal to insurance companies to have better copays because if
Mom continues to breastfeed the baby will be healthier and less sick baby
visits and ultimately the baby will need to access the system so ultimately they
will save money. If they are pretending to support wellness models and want
us to be healthier they should be supporting breastfeeding. We need to send
this message to them.....if someone can find the way to get the concept
across...Also Mom's need to think that a copay to fix with a simple ointment may save
them more copays.
I have to visualize this when I pay my up to $300 a month copays on my
husband and mine meds. Also see if submitting copays to flex spending accounts will
help to offset costs.
Thoughts from Miami where at last its no humidity....and in the 70's.
