Hi, all: Can anyone who knows a lot about WIC (the Women, Infants and
Children nutrition program in the US, for those not in the US), please
clarify something for me. I've been using the information that WIC only
supplies free abm for a baby until 9 lb 12 oz, but yesterday I was
informed by someone who appears knowledgeable that New Jersey's WIC
provides free abm up to a year of age. I will be checking the accuracy
of this with some local WIC people, but if it's true, then what does this
mean? Is the practice different in different states? What is the most
common practice among WIC agencies nationwide? TIA, Alicia.
