perhaps a peds endocrinologist will be more knowledgeable about this
condition.

With all due respect to the doctors, it sounds like the doc(s) advising
weaning
are either (a) ignorant about toddler bf and/or premature thelarche, or (b)
uncomfortable with toddler bf, or all of the above.
