Dear Partnership for Prevention, 

It is amazing and horrifying that the former Surgeon General David Satcher together with the alliance of health insurers, state health departments, academics and trade groups missed out on one of the most available, foundational, positive and easy health strategies as one of the twenty strategies they developed by reviewing more than 8,000 preventive-medicine studies.  Perhaps they were looking in all the wrong places for information?

What about breastfeeding and breastmilk?  If I need to tell you the health benefits of breastfeeding then you all need to go back to school, because there is a serious omission in your education. 

How shortsighted and what a sad indictment of your health orientation. 

I am Australian, but so often our country looks to  your country for cutting edge strategies.
