A question has come to me from a mom who has adopted a 3-week old infant.
She would like to give the new baby EBM from another mom friend of hers who
has stored up bunches of frozen milk. The problem: the milk is 4 months
old. I have references that show frozen milk to be good in a refrigerator
freezer for 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. I always tell moms that milk
is good for 3 months from a refrigerator freezer.

Which is the right answer, and is it safe for this mom to feed her adopted
infant this milk? Thanks for any input-
