Hi Martha,
No guru here, just a nuclear nerd. :-)

I have been unable to find a reference on Tc-99m and Green milk. I was a 
bit prejudiced before the search, so I will tell you that I could not find 
any because there is none :-) (hope the English is OK).

There is no radiophysical, radiochemical or chemical reason why Technetium 
should turn milk green. Tc is not absorbed per se, rather the "vehicle" is, 
and the vehicle is changed depending on the target organ. I think this mom 
has some other issue that cold turn her milk greenish (other drug, pigment 
or food she has taken lately). I don't think it is the Tc-99m.
