«Karleen Gribble (who was kicked out of a seminar on building attachment-
not because my child was disruptive but because the organisers wanted the
meeting to look "professional")»

On the weekend I went to a couple of classes. It was "medieval university"
and was really quite fun. I took a class that was 4 hours long called
Medieval medecine and a 2 hour one called Celtic knotwork. Both were
interesting. I took Tristan along...he's only 6 months old and quite
honestly *most* of the time, a quieter baby you couldn't find. He will
squeal in delight if making eye contact with someone and "playing" with them
but for the most part if he is just playing with a toy or something, he
makes *no* noise, or very little. He rarely cries (and I would pick him up
if he did anyhow), etc. He spent maybe 1/2 hour to 1 hour of the 4 hour
class playing quietly on the floor with a toy. There was a very small
amount of noise from the toy, but barely. The rest of the time he nursed
and napped. The 2 hour class he had just woken up and was not really
"ready" so he mostly hung out at the breast nursing for most of the 2 hours
anyhow. It didn't make drawing knots easier but we managed. :-)
