I don't know if this camera is optical or digital zoom. It is a Sony
Cybershot DSC-S30.  It was my dh's, but I've absconded with it:-) I've found
it does fine on close-up shots.    I upgraded it to 125 shots w/a cartridge
from Sam's. What I appreciate most about digital shots, in addition to the
immediacy, is how light they are compared to traditional photography.  I
don't do anything special to blanket or drape them; maybe turn on an
overhead light if it's not daytime.
