A friend of mine will be giving a talk in Montreal at McGill on
April 6, 12:30-1:30 . She is "author or coauthor of three books,
including Breastfeeding Rights in the United States and several
articles and book chapters" ... on topics that I think might interest
lactation professionals and lay professionals.

Here is a link to the talk information:
http://www.mcgill.ca/channels/events/item/?item_id=114843 . The
lecture is given as part of her Fulbright-sponsored research.

The title of this talk is: "Human Rights and Breastfeeding:
Applications of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk
Substitutes". The presentation will discuss breastfeeding in the
context of international human rights treaties, and also discuss the
human rights dimensions involved with enforcement of the
International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes.

I'm not sure how many Montreal-ers are on this list, but if perhaps
you know someone in Mtl who might be interested, I'd be grateful if
you would forward this. Thanks!
