We printed a paper guide last Spring and launched our website.  It was about
44 pages at 8.5" x 11".  We got advertisers (per WHO code), had a big book
launch party at Nordstrom, etc.  It was very well received and a much needed
resource here in our area.  I think I might have one copy left to mail to
you in my file drawer if you want to send me your address to

http://www.breast-friends.org.  It was created and edited by four of us from
the South King County Breastfeeding Coalition: Kay Batt BA LLLL IBCLC, Judy
Norman RN BSN IBCLC, Denise Stuart RN BSN IBCLC and myself.  It was Judy's
master's in nursing project at the Univ of Washington.  I think she got an
A+ :).

If you'd like any more info about how we did it, what we did, how we funded
it ($25 here and there piles up!), etc, please email me.  I'd love to help.
We're currently starting our new year and going over what to update and when
our next printing will be, since our guide grew or changed by about a third
right after we published it.  It is a 100% grassroots volunteer effort.  I'd
like to think that we helped several mothers in the area continue or start
to nurse.

a well-needed resource in every community.
