>I have a mother who wants to use gv on her nipples but is concerned about the

Alicia, I have had many clients who have used GV in their older children's
mouths. There is no staining of the teeth. I have also had a number of
mothers who used it themselves while treating their infants and there was
no staining of the teeth. The tongue and gums are purple for a few days,
but not the teeth.

What I have the adults do is dip a swab into the GV, swirl it in a little
water, swish, gargle and swallow. If they have a sore throat from thrush
the pain is eased within a few minutes.

If a mother has had abx, her infant has thrush, and she has nipple yeast I
often ask her if she has a white tongue. If the answer is yes (always with
surprise) I ask about a sore throat. Many times she says that her throat is
sore and she thought that she was getting a cold but it didn't progress.
When she does the oral GV treatment all is resolved.

I will tell a story about a 2-year old who had thrush along with mom's very
sore nipples. She painted her nipples and next feeding the little boy
cried, "Wipe it off, Mommy!" The mother said that she couldn't wipe it off.
So he wouldn't feed all day. Bedtime came and they lay down and he pleaded
again for her to wipe it off.

She went to the bathroom (without turning on the light) and turned on the
water and rinsed her breasts. She came back and told him that she had
washed her breasts. He eagerly fed, draining both breasts and went off to
sleep.

Next morning Dad awoke and realized that in the light of day the breasts
would still be purple. So as the little boy awoke, Dad looked over at Mom's
breasts and said, "Barney Boobies!!" The little one squealed, "Yeah!" and
all was well.

For those of you who don't know Barney, he is a large purple being who
loves everyone.

And back to Alicia's question, the boy's teeth were not purple. Your mother
doesn't have to worry about the teeth.
