Well, we know that we sweat....out of *intact* skin.  Some of us more than
others -- and some of us especially here in Chicago right now!!!  So I'm not
sure why fluid CAN'T be drawn out of the skin....but I don't know that it CAN
in the way we've been discussing.  When I've used cabbage, it doesn't appear
that the fluid in the tissues comes topside, so to speak, but is reabsorbed
into the lymphatic or circulatory system.  Since you are dunking the breast
into water, it would be a bit hard to tell if fluid is coming out of the skin
or not.
