Bacitracin is used by other routes, and it can be very nephrotoxic IM.
Topically, no problem.
Chloramphenicol may cause fatal blood dyscrasias.  This is generally a
dose-related toxicity; therefore, rarely does it occur with ophthalmic
preparations.
If it were my baby, I would not mess with either of them in nontopical forms
while breastfeeding.
In any case, fortunately, these alternatives a far down the list.
