No, I've never heard nor seen a connection between thrush and frenotomy. My 
guess would be that perhaps the hcp saw some early symptoms or questionable 
symptoms and mentioned that maybe the baby was getting thrush. Then when it 
did appear more clearly, the parents thought that he meant the baby would 
get thrush from the frenotomy.
