I have no idea why, but I have noticed clinically that sometimes a woman
with severe pre-eclampsia does have delayed onset of lactogenesis or
problems with supply. I worked very closely with one such woman who never
did produce milk despite pumping and nursing and the  only conclusion I was
able to come to was her severe pre-eclampsia. Anyone else notice any cases
like this?
