I would recommend a good OT or PT to examine for back muscle tension or
spasm. I have had several breast pain cases that were resolved with a
couple of therapeutic massage sessions with a good OT in our area. There are
muscles in the back that are directly connected to the breast. Sometimes a
chiropractic work-up is added. I would be surprised if 5 years of breast
pain is due to yeast. I would expect yeast overgrowth to create symptoms
other than this in a non-pregnant, non-lactating woman.

Be sure that any body work done while mom is on her stomach is done with a
small pillow or rolled-up towel below her breasts so that there isn't
pressure on her breasts. She could also feed the baby before the work is done.
