OK - so the allergies in Northern California have never been so bad! It rained and rained and rained, delaying the serial pollen changes - and now the sun is out and ALL the pollen of the the flowers AND the Trees AND even some grasses AND.... are blowing at the same time! Those of us with allergies find our noses, chests and eyes are in overdrive.

Our breastfeeding moms are calling ... BEGGING (and I know how they feel - my eyes are so red I look as if I lost my best friend, my husband and my mom this week!) because their MD's were asking for information about medications they can take for their nasal, eye and respiratory allergies.

What are your suggestions, other than saline this and saline that? (Frankly, I've not been able to sleep due to horribly itchy eyes without benadryl...which works great, also for my middle (old) age middle of the night awakenings ... but that's a topic for another group!)
