Another thought is to take a swab to confirm that this is thrush (and not
just milk or Epstein's pearls or something).
Also to throw out any dummies (pacifiers), if  baby has been using them.
They can't be completely sterilized and should always be replaced after
treatment for thrush.
If the baby is well, this is very unlikely to be the presenting sign of
diabetes.
Probably, just more treatment is necessary. I wonder if this started after a
course of antibiotics?
