Not only can the filler be different in generic drugs but in the same name drug, same company, same amount,
different form...My d was on chewable tegretol, switched to small swallowable version, she reached toxic levels
within 1 1/2 weeks. The neurologist said there was no difference in absorption between the two. The drug
company said the same, they said that they had studies showing this. So I called the FDA and spoke to a
wonderful man there who searched for me and said that there were no such studies. Katey was a psychotic,
rashed, sleepless, screaming, paranoid 9 year old. The drug level in her blood was up 25%! ~ Mary
