I have sent three emails to Medscape complaining about this marketing to
RNs.  The third time I sent it I put "Letter to the Editor" as the subject
selection and finally got a response.  The first two were bounced as
undeliverable.  I would suggest you copy and paste your Lactnet post and
send it to Medscape.  I still have not received a response from an actual
human, but received another automatic email today saying I "might" get a
response.  We all need to send our complaints about this unethical marketing
tactic.
