Actually, when patients come in the first time to our office they sign a 
blanket permission to treat and share info with other HCPs.  I wouldn't 
think the original hospital admission would still apply, as mom and baby 
were formally discharged. Whether or not they need to sign each time????

 The  people to ask are your hospital legal dept.  I hope they don't get 
apoplexy over how you have been doing it :-(

I do think that your offer of free assistance to your moms is a wonderful
