I will soon be teaching a breastfeeding class, so went to observe one.  The
instructor asked the group of 14 couples, how many of them were breastfed.
The answer amazed me. Only one had been breastfed, and she was Japanese,
born and raised.  A couple evenings later at a dinner with friends, I asked
the group of 6 women how many at this table had been breastfed.  One in the
group.  (She got to divide up the bill) since she probably had more IQ
points to figure it out than the rest of us did.  :-).  Later I heard the
figure only 5% of todays breastfeeding moms were breastfed themselves.  WOW!

It was news to me so I thought I'd pass this on.
