Just an anecdote.

Yesterday, I was Christmas shopping with a friend who is nursing a
toddler. We were just going to run in, so she left the sling in the car.
13 mo old Ashleigh was riding in the cart. Mom is rather short. Ashleigh
kept pulling mom's shirt up, wanting to nurse.  Mom pulled her shirt up
discreetly, leaned over the cart, nursing and pushing along. No one
knew!! She just looked like she was leaning over to kiss Ashleigh's
head.
Wish I had my camera to show- You can nurse anywhere!!
