I've been speaking to a journalist today about doing a story on the impact that lack of breastfeeding had in New Orleans (and how breastfeeding babies are buffered in such emergencies). I would like to send her some info on breastfeeding rates inthe affected area. I have discovered overall breastfeeding rates for Louisiana (lowest in the US apparently) but wondered if anyone knew what rates are broken down according to income and race??
