--Hi All,
I was asked a question of with I'd like to respond with some factual backing, so
I am asking for all you wise ones for assistance.

The question is: A mother was told by her GI doc that her gallbladder disease
and thereby elevated bulirubin was being transferred to baby in her breastmilk.
Has anyone information about passing bilirubin through the breastmilk and the
effects to baby?

I tried to find info in the archives, but only referrences to infant
jandice/bilirubin, and things about gallbladder/scans came back. I also looked
in Aurbach's book, (and another one..can't remember, but both 2004/5 editions)
without luck...same content regarding baby jaundice, etc.

Would appreciate any info...Thanks So much!!
Lucy
