Is this response to Kate ideal?  No, and he has the AAP guidelines slightly
off (a year or longer...)  But I have to say I found his response pretty
mild from what I've seen/heard in the past on these shows!  He clearly
understands that breastfeeding has an emotional/loving component in addition
to the sustenance part.  And I also found it expressed gently, without a lot
of judgment.  The response seems less to do with breastfeeding specifically
than it does with setting limits in general.
