Hi Jean,
Poor little baby.
I had some parents who responded to my post who said that they definitely
believed that their baby was in a lot of pain due to the nerve injury. Often
this was not taken seriously (mantra, obstetric brachial plexus injury
doesn't cause pain) but in some cases pain relief was provided for a period
of time. It must be awful to have a difficult birth and then to deal with an
injured child with little idea of recovery.
