Just to clarify the 1 lb. weight loss.  The baby was a tongue sucker.
 Apparently was just swallowing saliva.  In the winter with the heat on,
there is increased insensible water loss, and with little or no intake (and
scanty output) I do not think this was an "unexplained" weight loss.
 Regained very rapidly when FED!!
