I spoke with her briefly today and she has pretty much accepted that
she won't be able to pump and didn't seem very willing to push the
issue with her employer. She is of the mind that some is better than
none (and it is) and that she will do the best she can given her
circumstances.

On another note, I am going to be helping to start a new moms group at
one of our city hospitals. It will be targeting the lower income,
minority moms. We have our first meeting September 11th and I am
looking for resources for this type of group. The LC estimates the
literacy level to be about 8th grade so I will not be pushing hand-out
types of things. Maybe simple games?? If there is anyone who is
involved with this type of group could you email me off-list to help
me brainstorm? Are there websites for groups like this? Sorry for all
of the questions. I want to help these moms without overwhelming
them.
