Many thanks to Drs. Wight, O'Hara & Gartner for the wonderful press release on breastfeeding in 
emergencies.  I'm thrilled to see the increase in death rates and hospitalization from not 
breastfeeding right up front in the document.  

Between that and having Liz Krueger, New York State Senator call together a room full of IBCLCs and 
actually spend two hours listenting to them all because a pediatrician was shocked that Barbara 
Walters made her comments on the View it has made my month (or maybe even year).

Now, if we could get NPR to spend as much time on infant feeding during emergencies as they did on 
pet rescues I'd really be in heaven.
