Jean Cotterman, you are priceless.  I got goose bumps from your post about
the start of your LC career.  Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us!
Elisabet Helsing, the first person to write a book in Norwegian for BF
mothers, coined a phrase at the 30th anniversary celebration of the
Norwegian BF mothers' organization, Ammehjelpen.  It is a name for the
mature BF supporters, the ones with at least one generation of experience.
The full name is Galactosaurus supportiva regina, or lactosaurus for short.
Breastfeeding dinosaur, an honorable title if ever there was one.
There are a lot of you reading this who qualify, and all are welcome to use
this term, as long as you make sure to say where it came from!  Elisabet
worked for years at WHO's European regional office in Copenhagen and has now
come back to Norway where she is employed at the national health board.

Lactnet almost always makes me feel like I was just breastfed.  Satisfied,
enriched, protected, cared for-- NURTURED.  It takes many forms.  I hope my
ranting posts haven't added to anyone else's burdens.  Personally I haven't
felt any chills running through the posts lately either, and I hope those
who are feeling wounded will remain with the list, because posts like this
one of Jean's would be a d--- shame to miss.
