There is a case study in the latest Lancet in which a baby contracted HIV 
from being breastfed by an aunt. You can read it online at www.thelancet.com

"Surrogate breastfeeding" sounds odd to me. Do the authors think it sounds 
more medical than "wet nursing"? Do we have another term for a baby being 
fed by someone other than the biological mother?
