Hi Jennifer,
Domperidone is somtimes used in conjunction with a contraceptive pill in an
attempt to mimic pregnancy hormones by women relacting/inducing lactation
and weight gain is a fairly common side effect of this combination. I don't
know about weight gain with Domperidone only though I have vague ideas that
prolactin levels might impact appetite. However, something that is often
forgotten is how life changes after the addition of a baby to a family (bio
or adopted!) and this can mean a more sedentary lifestyle, more eating etc.
I'd be looking at that first!
