Given the possibility of contaminated powdered formula, one wonders if it
should really be given to ANY neonate -- If they are not being breastfed, they
aren't receiving antibodies to protect them from possible -- even minor
contamination of powdered formula -- such a the mother not washing her hands,
scooping the formula out of the tin, and then putting the scoop back in the tin
of powdered formula....something as simple as that -- could it contribute to
the  increase in illness we see in neonates?
