Hello everyone,

Here's a question for those with their thinking hats on. I've read in
Riordan (2nd edition, still waiting for third!) that lupus erythematosus can
be a factor in infant slow weight gain / FTT and interfere with the MER. Can
anyone enlighten me as to how the disease process / physiology of MER / milk
production are linked in lupus? Drawn a blank in literature, but maybe there
is a lactnetter with some info? Or is it that maternal fatigue or
medications that are the keys here?

Maybe going a bit "in-deep" here, but it would be interesting to know!

Thanks in advance,

Sara Bernard

ps anyone got a copy of 3rd edition Riordan yet?
