Marilyn, There is a rare rash of pregnancy that is sometimes mistaken for
PUPP. It is called Herpes Gestationalis. It does rebound postparum but is
worse if the Mom does not breastfeed. The treatment is usally oral steroids
and it doesn't seem to affect lactation although the Mom is advised against
additional pregnancy.
